Concordia’s biosciences major provides a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and physics, preparing students for a variety of careers in the health sciences. The pharmacy concentration serves as an excellent preparation for admission to pharmacy schools across various institutions or graduate programs of related disciplines. While this major supports students pursuing a pharmacy degree, it is also a flexible and rigorous pathway for those interested in other health professions or life science careers.
Starting in Fall 2025, students majoring in biosciences with a pharmacy concentration will have the option to pursue a dual-degree program with North Dakota State University. Students will complete foundational coursework at Concordia that will provide the necessary requirements to transition to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program at NDSU.
